Enroll now in our summer session of parent & me
Want something fun, social, educational and air-conditioned for your young child to do this summer? Enroll in our 10-week session of parent & me classes that include music, art, movement, snack, storytime, water play, and a range of other activities that cater to each child’s unique interests and personality. Classes start June 25th and, with many spots reserved for returning students, will fill up fast, so check out our class schedule and get your registration in early!
Drop-off Fridays – our child care service
Have you fallen behind on trips to your dentist/doctor/hair salon? Do you have a ton of errands or emails to catch up on? Or could you just use a little you time? Take advantage of our drop-off playtime on Fridays from 9am-noon, and get everything off your to-do list so you can actually relax over the weekend! Our teaching staff will ensure that your little one stays safe while enjoying music, art, snack, storytime, and plenty of freeplay with our fabulous selection of developmental toys and materials. Space is limited so we ask that you contact us by noon Thursday of each week to let us know if you plan to drop your child off the following morning. $30 per child, payable by cash or check (made out to Wallaby) when you arrive.
Drop in & dress up!
Your little one will have a ball dressing up with our great selection of fancy dresses, costumes and accessories and playing party games before spending some quality time with our resident fairy/face painter/nail polisher and sitting down to a storytime tea complete with finger sandwiches, fruit, cookies, lemonade and fairy tales. There’s nothing else like it in LA! Meets Saturdays from 10-11:30am. $20 per child, payable by cash or check (made out to Wallaby) when you arrive. Recommended for children aged 2-5 years. Babies welcome at no charge. Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance if you are bringing a large group.

what is wallaby?
We’re not a preschool, child care center, kids’ gym or indoor playground. We are LA’s premier family development center, focused exclusively on providing the best parent & me classes for babies, toddlers and pre-preschoolers, and great services for their parents and caregivers too.
We develop evidence-based programs that offer your child a variety of experiences that support his or her eventual transition to preschool, and that help you connect to a welcoming and supportive community of adults. We know that from around the time they turn one and up until they go to preschool, children need more than just climbing, jumping and running around – they need opportunities to hone their fine motor skills, expand their musical abilities, test out their creative sides with dramatic play and open-ended art projects, and make their first friends. We also know that, around this same time, parents and caregivers of young children really need to get out of the house and make some new friends themselves!
Our parent & me classes are thoughtfully designed to meet all of these needs in just 60-105 minutes either once or twice a week. They are grounded in a play-based, non-competitive and non-academic philosophy, and staffed by our team of warm, talented and dedicated teachers who have been with us since we opened in 2010.
